PRACTICAL KARATE SEMINAR WITH IAIN ABERNETHY &LEIGH SIMMS

On Sunday the 2nd of February Iain will be teaching a joint seminar with Leigh Simms! The event will run from 10am - 2pm and be held at Joseph Chamberlain College, 1 Belgrave Road, Highgate, Birmingham, B12 9FF.

The cost is £40.00 / person and you can secure a place by contacting Leigh via leigh@leighsimms.com or 07581443637.

The theme of this event will be “Attributes and Application”. Iain will cover the Training Matrix concept and identify how to develop the attributes needed to apply the lessons of kata in live situations. Leigh will then cover how the methods of kata can be contextualised relevant to the situation at hand to ensure any action taken is effective and in line with legal considerations. These important and nuanced elements are a must for those who wish to genuinely address self-defence in their karate training.

Client Feedback
We have been part of British Combat Association for over 5 years now and we are always made to feel like part of this Martial Arts family. The guidance and training from Peter Consterdine has been the best experience we have had in our Martial Arts history. We have learnt more from Peter and the BCA in the last 5 years than any other association we have been with in our 20 plus years training and instructing. The administration and information from the BCA's Dawn is second to none and always helpful if we need help or guidance on our memberships and grade certificates. We will always support the BCA.
